This is not your run of the mill favorite animal, but the capybara is my son's! He learned about them (and saw them) at our local zoo. Luckily this book was written and made available by Ms. Ganeri so that he could learn more about this lovable lump of a rodent!
I got this for my daughter because she likes capybaras. It was OK but I would've preferred a few more pages, and maybe better photos of the capys.
Very cute, perfect for a child going into 1st grade to read to his grandma.
Perfect for my grandson who is totally infatuated with Capybaras. Easy reader with lots of specific information. Highly recommend it!
gift for 3 year old grandson, along with Wild Republic Cuddlekin Capybara 12" Plush. I didn't look at number of pages before I ordered, so was surprised at how thin the book was, but it's a nice book anyway.
Children didn't like part about Capybara's use as a food source, or a capybara-tooth necklace
