Great story but crummy binding. Lost a page on the first reading. Took off a star for that reason. The story itself is very good and teaches a positive message on integrity.
These step into reading books are so great for my 7 year old. Such a cool book I myself learned something I didn't know about Babe Ruth great story.

My 5 year old nephew loves this book. I think his older sister likes it, too. It is a good topic that my sister says has helped my nephew be more interested in learning to read.
Fantastic read! My 7 year old learned all about Babe Ruth after reading this story. All the basic facts plus the fun facts! Illustration is great too. Keep these historical, step into reading books coming!
I love these series. But most important that my son does. I order 20+ books and he loves to read them (usually it is not that easy to make him read). I got mix of 2-3-4 levels for the second grader, second level is too easy, but it creates some fun and he reads them with pleasure. Love it, I would recommend it.
My daughter into softball/baseball and wanted her to learn about Babe Ruth. She couldn't put it down, she read it 3 times in a week.
My son LOVES this book!!
