Took map along for recent trip to Uganda. Great for general use. However, as one might expect many names villages are not included. And, condition of roads varies considerably from legend info. One has to also bear in mind this is Africa we are talking about and even a two lane road show on map may be barely useable from Western standards. Glad I have it in my collection of reference material and since we were depending on expertise of guide who knew the "ends and outs" of roads we did not have to count on the map. No regrets as to purchasing.
I was recently in Uganda & given the spotty infrastructure there I don't like to depend on electronics too much. I ended up not having to venture away from the capital (Kampala) too much this trip but when I did this map came in handy.
Seems like a perfectly serviceable map
This map was somewhat helpful. Unfortunately, it is not entirely accurate and left out the names of many larger villages / did not show intersections when they occurred so that if I were driving (instead of being driven by a guide), I would have become lost..
This map is perfect for our up coming trip and the planning of where we will visit. Also helpful with hotel search.
Far too big
reasonably accurate, but we traveled many dirt roads around which were sort of major roads but were difficult to track on the map - no way could this map be used by the causal driver trying to navigate around
Since I couldn't find a map with Uganda all on one side, I settled for this one. It is a nice substantial map.
